Half Bath On A Budget

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

This space was a blank canvas. We had our home built 2 years ago and I hadn't done anything with this space. I have 9 ft ceilings which made it feel too tall for such a small space. I decided to put a chair rail to give the illusion of shorter walls. It has a better feel now and is more interesting! I spent  under $125 to get this look!

I wanted the room to have a  fresh and airy feel. I found this anaglypta wallpaper  from Walmart for $14.

I added  interest by putting a small basket filled with pretty smelling oils and candles.
Basket: $6 @ walmart!

I found this paint in the 'oops' section in Home Depot for $7.

The chair rail was around $8 for a couple of  feet! What a difference it made!

I found this frame in Marshall's for $5:99 and put scrapbook paper in it to match the room! I already had the scrapbook paper, but you can find it @ any craft store for a couple of dollars!

The wreath is made from an old book that I found in the thrift store for $3 and I used foam board for the back, so the wreath cost me $4 to make! I added potpourri in the middle of the wreath to add interest! I just used what I had at home! Stay tuned! I will be doing a Christmas one with a tutorial! They are so much fun to make!

I added a little nature with these reeds and starfish! I found these in TJ Maxx for $12!  I also hot glued some rope, $6 from the Home Depot to add a little detail to the vase! The vase was also from TJ Maxx for $20! The rug was from Ross for $5:99.

I bought these frames in Ikea for $10 each and used scrapbook paper to add some color and interest!

Thanks for stopping by!
