Happy first day of fall! Don't you just love walking around the neighborhoods on cool fall evenings, seeing beautifully decorated Fall porches? Today I'm sharing how you can create a beautiful fall entrance and fall wreath!
What you will need:
Artificial flowers, hydrangeas, a wire wreath, brown wired ribbon, burlap ribbon, wreath holder, florist wire and wire cutters. I found all of these items from Michaels craft store, Walmart and AC Moore!. Total cost:: $40.
I had to cut the flowers off because the stem was too thick. It made it easier to wrap the flowers around the wreath. Make sure you cut them long enough!
To start, place the flowers around the wreath to get an idea of how you want it to look. Wrap the flowers around the wreath, then use your florist wire to attach them.
I wanted to use burlap and ribbon in between my flowers. To get this look, all you have to do is weave the burlap in and out of the wreath then pull it through making loops! I twist mine and scrunch them to get the look I want! There's no correct way of doing this just play around until you are happy with the result! Make sure you protect the surface you are working on.
I tied the ribbon around the wreath in a bow and just scrunched it up until I liked how it looked! I used wired ribbon... almost done! : )
Once you get a hang of it you will finish in no time! I absolutely love how it turned out! The colors are perfect and just in time for fall!
For a finished look, I tied a brown silk wired ribbon in a bow and hung it with a simple wreath holder!
For my entrance, I bought this lovely arrangement of mums.
I had some leftover burlap and I tied it around the pumpkins.
Don't you just love the colors of Fall?
I can't wait for pumpkin pie! Fall is my favorite time of the year!
Trick or treat?
Thank you for stopping by. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!
