Holiday Sweater Letters

I was shopping in Hobby Lobby yesterday and found these 10 inch letters for only $2.50 each! I thought that was great! I wanted to do something different rather than just paint them, so I used the leftover pieces from my thrift store sweaters  to cover them. The star was only $5.99!

I laid each letter on top of the leftover sweater and cut around the shape, leaving enough to wrap around the back, then hot glued it in place. Here you see the front part of the sweater that I had used for my pearl pillow for the letter "L" It's so cute!

By adding the pom-poms onto the letter "E" It helped balance the colour out!

I used a red and grey sweater that I picked up from the thrift store. It worked out great, the colours were perfect!

It's so cute!
Now I just have to find the perfect place for it!
