Easter Dining

Are you having guests or family over for Easter? Today I'm sharing some easy ideas to brighten up your table.

Sometimes you just have to think outside the box! I was looking for fresh cut green flowers with lots of  texture and detail. While looking in Wholefoods for my tulips, I came across some kale and thought.....oooohh!!!! Then I saw the artichoke and got really excited! Ha ha! Veggies are great to decorate with, they are so very interesting and colorful!

Freshen up your table with beautiful texture and color using fresh vegetables and flowers!

Adding a little bit of whimsy to your table keeps it interesting and makes for good conversation.  I thought it would be interesting to use these wooden balls as the eggs! Just fill with fake moss,  then sit the wooden balls on top. The plates are from TJ Maxx.

What I love about my centerpiece is that it's mobile. I found this gorgeous tray in Ross for under $10!

I have been dying to put this artwork in my dining room! My husband painted it some time ago, but somehow it didn't quite work in here. Now that I've painted my walls and painted the three frames white, I feel that it's all coming together! We used 1/4 inch underlayment. After I painted it brown I dry brushed it over with a cream color, then took some  sand paper and really roughed over the edges of the board.

You have to have hot cross buns at Eater time!

Another great way to add interest is to fill glass containers with your cutlery. I found this milk bottle in Ikea!

Fill cute little dishes with mints for your guests!

Wrap twine around plain white napkins for a farmhouse look!

    1. Thank you Maggie! You should try and make one! Do you know someone who can draw? It's really very easy if you can get someone to draw it!
