Coastal Valentines Mantel

I'm so excited to share with you my Coastal inspired Valentines mantel! Now that the house is back to normal after Christmas, I'm pulling out all of my coastal decor, using things I already have and creating new ideas!

Hugs & Kisses!
My daughter bought me these little starfish and sand dollars a while ago and today it came to me what I would do with them! I  used them in this frame as hugs & kisses! Perfect for Valentines while keeping the coastal theme! I took the glass out of the frame, added a natural colored piece of scrapbook paper, then hot glued the starfish and sand dollars onto the paper! xoxoxo!

Using things I already had such as these coastal glass balls and starfish I tucked them beside the frame creating balance on the mantel.

What would Valentine's Day be without roses? Simple, yet stunning!

I couldn't wait to put my beachwood heart up here! I love it! It makes such a statement and is so natural!

Don't be afraid to layer! I propped my old window against the wall adding dimension and interest! I found this on Craigslist for $10!

I really love these reels! I'm sure you've seen a lot of them around!  They have a cool vintage feel about them so I thought I would add a little interest to my mantel, while keeping a natural look!

Moving on to the heart of the mantel!...No pun intended!  Ha ha!

T J Maxx...I love U!  That's all! Lol!

Unfortunately, I have an outlet and a tv outlet on the wall and I could have hidden it by maybe painting or covering the glass on the window, but it would have thrown off the balance of my design and we can't have that can we?  1 inch more...I don't think so! lol!

A little bit of green I think! This wire basket is from Walmart! Under $3!

Oh go on then....The key to my heart! Ha ha! I just had to! After all it is a Valentines mantel!

I love this basket! I found it @ Ross for $14! I've seen this same style in Pottery Barn for much more!

Cute starfish amongst the reeds!

Choose pieces that have lots of detail and pattern! It always adds so much interest even if they are the same colors!

Thanks for stopping by!
