Redesigned Dining Room

I'm forever changing things around the house, how about you?

While I loved the paint color in my dining room, I felt that it was time for a change!
I chose a warm grey by BEHR called, Porpoise. I was a bit nervous at first, thinking it might be too cold, but after I had finished, I loved it!

My dining room was a bit too formal looking for me so I decided to make it a little cozier. Would you believe the table runner is a throw? I know it's a little weird, but it's very thin and I LOVE how it looks! Hey I'm thinking way outside the box! If I could have found another one they would have been window treatments!

I'm using my vintage tool box that I found in T J Maxx for my wine! It was in my kitchen, but I like it better here. : )

I'm using my wreath to add a bit of green to this space. Looks like I need more wine to fill up my box Ha ha!

Do you recognize the pillows? These are my thrift store sweater pillows! I think they look great in this space for a change.

It's so much cozier now, I love how it turned out and I LOVE the wall color!

Use your favorite objects in your space to add texture and interest.

I love to layer objects! Here I've used a wire basket, plant and the glass dome.

I love dried eucalyptus, it smells so good!

Do you remember my Coastal Valentines Mantel I used this amazing driftwood heart.

I found this glass vase about two years ago on clearance for $7. I added the rope around it to make it more interesting!

It's amazing what changes you can make around the house by just changing things around. Play around with things until you are happy with the outcome. Happy decorating!

Thanks for stopping by.
Linking up to these great parties!

    1. Thank you Sarah! I bought them in T J Maxx about 2-3 years ago. They have them now and then so if you see them you should definitely pick them up! I've also seen them in Marshalls. These were so cheap too, only $59 each!

  2. I love the paint color change! I think the darker gray warms it up a lot! The accessories you used to dress up the space are on point. So many great details about this. You did an amazing job!
